McDonald's Adds another Holiday Favorite Menu Item

The Peppermint Mocha, which is made with espresso, milk, peppermint chocolate syrup, whipped topping, and chocolate topping,

is usually available in McDonald's restaurants in the United States during the Christmas season but was previously unavailable.

It has joined the Candy Cane Fudge McFlurry on the official McDonald's Canada holiday menu.

You also have the option of ordering a Peppermint Hot Chocolate, which is essentially the same thing as a Peppermint Mocha but without the coffee.

Although some people prefer McDonald's peppermint mocha, sales of this broad type of beverage are brisk at many fast food outlets during the holiday season.

Starbucks first introduced it in 2002, and they are reintroducing it for a short time to commemorate the company's 20th anniversary.

At the start of the show, McDonald's Chief Marketing Officer said, "Our fans have been captivated by the story of the McGold Card and if it genuinely exists."
