In late 2022, Burger King's parent business suddenly recruited the CEO of Domino's Pizza.
From 2010 to 2018, Doyle oversaw the pizza powerhouse, earning 29 consecutive quarters of same-store sales growth and system-wide sales increase from $5.6 billion to $13 billion.
Doyle's execution abilities may help Burger King profit from the parent company's large hire. A major Burger King employee has been hired by RBI.
On February 6, a long-serving PepsiCo executive, most notably Mountain Dew's chief marketing officer, will take the same position at Burger King.
O'Toole will be "accountable for leading marketing efforts to help grow traffic, accelerate sales growth, and amplify the fundamental advancements the brand is making to the
Guest experience in support of the brand's existing Reclaim the Flame plan shared in 2022 and supported by more than 96% of Burger King Franchisees nationwide," according to a press release.
"Pat joins us at a pivotal time for the brand, and delivers the appropriate combination of perspective, experience, and
expertise to position BK for success in 2023 and beyond," said Burger King North America President. Our franchisees devised and supported a fantastic plan.
Pat is joining our team to help us achieve our goals with our franchisees by drawing on his extensive experience and knowledge."
